A single 12" speaker, the RMS12 is constructed in the USA from Grade "A" 3/4" MDF wood and features a sealed design. With a volume of 1.6 cubic feet, this enclosure can accommodate larger subwoofers that need plenty of room to move air. In most cases, enclosures in this size are extremely difficult to locate. Brands typically do not produce this size. We custom-built these because no commercially available enclosure met the specifications of the numerous large and powerful subwoofers we had acquired.

Experts in the field have been fabricating these enclosures in the United States for over 20 years, and they do it using precise cutting technology. When you buy an enclosure from Rockville, you'll get a special improved adhesive that no other company can match. This ensures that the carpet won't shift or tear. The US-made 34" MDF is considerably more durable than any imported wood. By preventing the box from flexing and distorting the woofers, your system's performance will be maintained at a high level. That's a favor to your subwoofers. Each and every Rockville enclosure is double-stapled and bonded for extra security. What's more, we seal all of the seams with a thin coating of silicon!
