With the conex damper, you get higher power handling and deeper bass, and the 1-1/16" balanced dome tweeter reproduces highs with great clarity and musicality. The shallow mounting depth allows for quick and easy installation in a variety of vehicles. 
In addition to dampening large cone vibrations and enhancing linearity of sound reproduction, the Progressive Flex Suspension System effectively supports the voice coil. Its soft part makes movement smooth and reproduces clear sound and its hard part controls excessive vibration and prevents movement error when excessive input occurs.
