An adjustable truss rod and geared 5th string tuner: This banjo is also equipped with a geared 5th string tuner, which is normally found on more expensive banjos. In comparison to a friction tuner, the geared 5th tuner provides better tuning accuracy and less slippage. The adjustable truss rod allows you to ensure that the neck remains straight when tuning.
This banjo bundle kit includes: A 15mm premium fabric padded "gig bag" guitar case with a pocket, carry handle, and shoulder strap, as well as extra strings, a polishing cloth, and three celluloid picks.

The Ashthorpe banjo also includes a 5/8" maple/ebony bridge and 24 chrome-plated brackets to secure the frosted Remo drumhead. There is less slippage and more accurate tuning with the geared fifth string tuner side peg. You can adjust the strings when the action is too low or too high with an adjustable truss rod.
